A Book of Shadows is the record of Rituals and beliefs of the practitioner. The book should be aimed at providing a magical record of what is being practiced. Magickal Journals are records of workings, dates of when, how, why they are performed. Dreamng Journals are meant to capture dreams upon waking. Magick is based on several principles. There exists within each human being a potential for creating change in their environment and life to a variance of factors. This is based on the existence of the Astral Plane. The Astral Plane is composed of energy which can be altered, sensed and will to be contained within the body and touch of the Magickian. The spells, invocations and calls are made for one purpose - to stimulate the imagination and Will of the Magickian to cause change on the astral plane resulting in the manipulation of Matter. As defined in the LUCIFERIAN TAROT - the Prince of the Powers of the Air begins within and manifests through BELIAL, the Lord of the Earth. The Luciferian, Chaos Magickian, Satanist or Ceremonial Magician will use a Magickal Journal or Book of Shadows to scribe their own inspirations, successes and failures in a journal.
